Day 1 (Fri) New York/Casablanca, Morocco
Join us at JFK Airport on our evening flight to Casablanca on Royal Air Maroc Airlines.
Day 2, (Sat) Rabat
Morning arrival in Morocco, one of the most exotic countries in the world and gateway to the Sahara. Transfer from Casablanca to Rabat, Morocco’s capital and the first of our Imperial Cities, Rabat, where the Tour Hassan Hotel awaits you. Balance of the morning at leisure. Your afternoon sightseeing tour will include the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, Chellah Necropolis, Mohammed V Mausoleum and Kasbah Oudayas. Join in a Welcome Dinner this evening. (D)
Day 3, (Sun) Rabat/Meknes/Fez
Morning drive to Meknes the ancient Ismalien Capital. Enroute we visit the remarkable Roman ruins of Volubilis. Features of this antique city include the House of Orphus, the Gallien baths and Temple of Venus. Next, the holy city of Moulay Idriss. Arrive Meknes in time for lunch and a brief visit of the city. Continue your journey to Fez, the oldest of the Imperial Cities and cultural center. Jnane Palace Hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 4, (Mon) Fez
Morning: ATTEND CME PROGRAM.
Late morning and afternoon sightseeing in Fez includes the Attarine, Nejjarine Fountain, Araouine Mosque, and the ancient Medina. (B, D)
Day 5, (Tue) Fez/Marrakesh
A scenic drive through olive groves and cedar woods, past Berber villages and the foothills of the Atlas Mountains to Beni Mellal. Continue your drive to the most famous Imperial City, Marrakesh, and gateway to the Sahara Desert. Sheraton Hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 6, (Wed) Marrakesh
A full day to discover the historical sights of the city. The XIIth Century Menara Gardens, the Koutoubia Mosque, Tombs of the Saadian Princes, the El Bahia Palace and Gardens, the picturesque Souks and to Djemaa El Fna square the throbbing city center with acrobats, sooth-sayers and troubadours. This evening enjoy an exciting Fantasia dinner and show. (B, D)
Day 7, (Thu) Marrakesh/Casablanca
Morning: ATTEND CME PROGRAM.
Your afternoon drive will take you to historic Casablanca, Morocco’s economic capital. Royal Mansour Hotel. (B, D)
Day 8, (Fri) Casablanca
This morning see the Hassan II Mosque, United Nations Square, The Royal Palace and Central Market. This evening enjoy a Farewell Dinner at a Casablanca Café with the legendary name, “Rick’s”. (B, D)
Day 9, (Sat) Casablanca/New York
Morning transfer to the airport for your return flight to New York arriving in the early afternoon. (B)
